Clifton CM-1 Cyclone Vortex Mixer
A press-start vortex mixer for repeatable tube mixing without a stirring rod contacting the sample. Pressing a tube into the rubber cap starts mixing immediately. Variable speed from 200 to 2800rpm and a 7mm orbit allow adjustment from gentle to vigorous agitation. The weighted housing improves stability. A motor over-temperature/over-current safety device is fitted. The optional RSA-1/CM retort assembly holds a tube for longer mixing runs. Use a suitable speed for samples sensitive to mechanical damage.
